Fr Andrew Perry has been the parish priest of Portslade & Mile Oak since September 2013.  He’s married to Alison and they have children Hannah and James.
Tall, gifted, good looking, rich, elegant... these are just some of the words Fr. Andrew would like to use to describe himself.  Sadly only one of these is true, and at just over 6 feet tall he is wary of venturing outside in high winds.
His hobbies include all things to do with food & cooking;  he enjoys murder stories and cycling (although not at the same time). He loves France and the South Downs, hates celery and needles, once visited Russia and his best man’s uncle was at Art College with John Lennon. His ambition is to retire at the age of 50, fabulously wealthy from the sale of a best selling novel, to a small island in the sun and grow tomatoes.
On 9th July 2017 it was announced that Fr Andrew would be leaving the parish to take up a new post of Vicar or St Mary's Church, East Preston.  Fr Andrew's last day in this parish will be 3rd September 2017.  On 3rd September 2017, there will be a joint service at St Nicolas School at 10.30am followed by posh cakes and sparkling liquid to say good bye to Fr Andy and he and his family move on to East Preston.
