Arrangements for these can be made by appointment with the Vicar Fr Andrew Perry.

CONFESSIONS OR SPIRITUAL ADVICE
 Appointments can be made by contacting Fr Andrew Perry after Morning Prayers, Mass or at the address above by telephone or email.

CHILDREN AND THE CHURCH
Children of any age are encouraged to worship with their parents and other adults. Children are welcome at all services in our Churches especially at 9.00 a.m. Sunday Parish Eucharist at The Good Shepherd or the 10.30 a.m. Sunday Parish Eucharist at St Nicolas .

PRAYER PYRAMID
Members of this prayer group pray each day for two weeks for a person or happening that they are asked to pray for. To request their prayer and support, please contact Averil Mitchell at St Nicolas Church.

Request for prayers of support may also be left in St Nicolas Church on the Intercessions Board

SERVERS, SINGERS & MUSICIANS
Anybody who would like to serve at the altar, or anyone who would like to sing in the choir or use their musical skills in church should in the first place contact Vicar.

CHRISTIAN GIVING
 
The Parish is committed to Planned Giving. Members are asked to plan their giving according to their resources and to use Offering Envelopes. If you pay Income Tax please sign a Gift Aid form so that the Parish can reclaim the Tax you have paid at no cost to you.

or can be obtained from Dr A. Stove. at St Nicolas

ELECTORAL ROLL
The names of all Church members should be on the Church Electoral Roll. Application forms are available in our churches.

LARGE PRINT HYMN BOOKS
A few large print hymn books are available in both our churches. If using one would be helpful to please ask the sidesperson who will know where they are kept

CHURCH FLOWERS
Contributions or offers of help for St Nicolas to Miss D. Colthorpe and for St Andrew's to Mrs S. Collier.

PARISH MAGAZINE
The Parish Magazine is published quarterly and material for the next issue of the "Parish of Portslade & Mile Oak Parish Magazine" should be given to the Editor (Mrs Debbie Cook) not later than the 15th of the month.
For enquiries concerning postage subscription and costs for Overseas delivery of the Parish Magazine, please write to:- Mrs. V. Locke, The Vicarage, South Street, Portslade Brighton, East Sussex, BN41 2LE.
 
The edition of the magazine which was produced in November 2014, was the last printed magazine, and now the next magazine will be available in 'digital' format which means we can send you your copy, via email!  If you do not have email, please contact us and let us know as we will print of a copy for you.
